Mrs. Barbara V. (Blethen) Stevens, 90 years, of Lynn, died Sunday, December28, 2008 in Union Hospital, after a brief illness. She is the wife of the late Raymond L. Stevens. She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Earl R. and Lovilla G. (Humphrey) Blethen. She was raised in Lynn and Arlington, she was a graduate of Arlington High School. She has lived in Lynn most of her life.
Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Adelphia Club at Lakeside Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards , reading and crocheting. She enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins. Mrs. Stevens was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.Mrs. Stevens is survived by 3 daughters, E. Donna LeBrasseur and her husband Gerald of Lynn, Linda L. Reznik of Hillsborough, New Jersey and Nancy J. Kuhn and her husband Brian of Plymouth, 6 grandchildren, Michelle Pedro of Lynn, Marc R. LeBrasseur of Saugus, Michael Reznik of Hillsborough, NJ, Brian D. Kuhn, Jr. of Brighton, Bethany L. and Jason R. Kuhn of Plymouth, MA. She also leaves 5 great grandchildren and her cousin, Marion Staples of Danvers. She is the mother of the late Marcia R. Stevens, sister of the late Donald Blethen and Grandmother of the late Meghan R. Kuhn.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rte 129) Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to All Care Hospice, 16 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901
