ENFIELD, CONN. - Henry R. Blethen, 73, of Enfield, Conn., died Friday at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, Conn.
Mr. Blethen was a salesman for ALA Auto Club and retired in 1990. Before that, he worked at Hamilton Standard for 15 years.Mr. Blethen served in the Navy during World War II. GM3 US NAvy. He was a member of American Legion Post 80 of Enfield.
Mr. Blethen was born in Salem, N.H. He had lived in Enfield for the past 39 years.
He leaves his wife Rita (McNally) Blethen, sons Henry L. of Enfield and Edward J. and his wife Kathy McCusker of Snellville, Ga., daughters Norma McCarthy of Springfield and Joanne and her husband Alfred Rousseau of Tewksbury, brother Kenneth of Oklahoma, sister Rita C. Tremblay of Salem, N.H., six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Goundrey Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, N.H.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
The Browne Memorial Funeral Chapel of Enfield is in charge of arrangements.
